Graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She went on to Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she received a degree in Dental Medicine in 1995, as well as an achievement award in endodontics. She completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Boston University Dental Clinic. For the past few years Dr.Del Puerto has furthered her dental education taking numerous courses and seminars emphasizing in dental implants, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. In 2005, she becomes a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
She is an active member of the ADA. FDA., Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Del Puerto practices General and Cosmetic Dentistry in Doral Florida
